Hi,
We are deploying HP T620 and are having issues with two password prompts on login.
The first password prompt is a standard Windows 2008 Login screen, asking for a username and password
The second password prompt is a different log in screen, showing a thumbnail of the standard user icon with the users user ID and an 'other user' option
The machine is configured using the provided HP Easy Tools to connect as an RDP Appliance to our session based load balancer.
Easy Config Summary
Web Browser - No Connection
Desktop
Kiosk_mode - True
RDP
Name - rdp appliance
autostart - true
Address - [FQDN of load balancer]
XenApp - No Connection
When using mstsc when logged into the thin client as administrator, users are only prompted for login cretentials once and get passed through successfully
I believe that the Appliance runs following the configuration file at C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\HPConnector\rdp-template.txt
however changes made to this file do not appear to produce any change in setup. Specifically we are looking at the following settings:
authentication level:i:X
Prompt for Credentials on client:i:X
Prompt for credentials:i:X
I believe this may be an issue related to the security certificates applied to either the load balancer or session hosts, However logging in from the administrator session using mstsc allows the session to connect successfully.
Please let me know if I need to provide any more information
Thanks
Nathan
