I have the HPDM console installed on my machine, and the Device Management Server/Gateway running on a server. The database is on a SQL2012 database. I've set up a new machine with SQL2014, and I want to move the database over there. I'm not moving any of the other pieces.
The problem I'm running in to is I don't know where to go or what pieces to apply the change to, to point the HPDM at the new SQL server location.

Good day! I have a problem with the T5550 when connecting USB disk and copy files to it for more than 10 MB of an error "Insufficient disk space". At the same time her 4 GB of free space. USB drive tried different manufacturers. Thin client connects to the Windows Server 2008R2.

I just updated our HPDM from the original install to SP5. The current version of HPDM is 4.5.3610.19512. I have misc thin clients and versions running. On my test machine which is a T5565 running ThinPro4, I updated this agent from 4.5.3668.16180 to 4.5.3668.18318 then rebooted the thin client. I have found when attempting to shadow this device the task completes successfully and goes green, however VNC never opens. I have attempted this on an older agent and get the same result. When doing a reverse shadow, it seems to work. I inherited this setup so I am still learning, any help would be appreciated.
I have update our thinclients to the latest Image TX51007.
Now I have the problem that a software on the rdp-server (Win Server 2008R2) is very slow. It allwas take 3 or 4 times to see the right layout.
You can watch every line to to get screened. First in white then 1 white and the next grey, ...
It takes 3 or 4 times to see the right layout - every time you click on the new task - the same play.
The programm is an SQL-based programm and on the windows rdp there is now problem.
Is it possible to go back to an older Image?

We have have about 20 HP T610 Thin client, and I have several problems when they reboot. They automatically reboot 2 times per day!!!
1. I use write filter on a thin clients (display a green lock)
2. Think clients update to latest BIOS Version
2. Think clients must work 24/7 365 days a year (Regional Headquarters of the State Fire Service of Poland )

Hello, I am trying to install the api for scanners(libsane.deb). When i need to install the additional components there is an error on installing the component: Fonts-dejavu-core.deb.
error message: Current installed version: fonts-dejavu-core ( version 2.33-2hp1)
Installing fonts-dejavu-core would break ttf-dejavu-core, and deconfiguration is not permitted.
Is it possible to install the Libsane.deb without updating all the other components?
Add info: I need to install the libsane.deb because the thin clients needs to recognize an Canon DW-C225 Scanner(the driver for the scanner is asking for the libsane.deb).

Question 1 - How do I know which SP I'm running? If I go to Help -> About, it says I'm running version 4.6.3610.19290. Does that mean it's SP3?
Question 2 - In my HPDM, I have a tab for HP ThinPro3. However, we've retired all of our ThinPro3 devices. I'd like to remove that tab. How do I do that?

I am trying to install SP4 over my base HPDM 4.6 installation. It goes all the way through the process, gets to the "Updating HPDM Components" part, and then errors out. It says, "Installation NOT successful. Installation complete but with configuration problem", or something to that effect. The Server/Gateway portions are installed on a different machine. I checked the HPDM 4.6 SP4 Install Log, and this is what it says:

Is there a simple way to run a report that will list all of the versions of RDP that are in use on my Thin Clients?

I am trying to use a web camera on my HP t410 Smart Zero Client. After making a successful connection to my VMware View connection server, the camera is not functional. In order for full operations, VMware requires RTAV to be installed. However, when I browse the thin client file system I do not see the required plugin file ( /usr/lib/pcoip/vchan_plugins/libmmredir_plugin.so ).
How do I install the plugin on my thin client?

Not sure if the is related to the SP 4 install but now, when i try to image a unit, i get :

That is from the 610, and from the 620 i get error:

for some reason the pointer goes the oposite direction, whenever I touch the screen.
any ideas?
also when I try to do the calibration, it doesnet seem to do anything.

We are deploying a bunch of T620's along with Dual E231 monitors.
We set them up with the primary Display (Monitor 1) on the left and the second monitor (Monitor 2) on the right.
The desktop is extended across both monitors, so the windows start menu is on the left mopnitor (Monitor 1).
Randomly, a user will reboot his T620 and the displays will swap sides.. His main display will move to the right.
Swapping cables or adjusting the monitor layout under the windows 7 screen resolution dialogue doesn't have any affect.
The only resolution we have at the moment is to unbolt the monitors from their dual stand and physically swap them around.
This is all good an well, but then they will randomly swap back some time later...

Does anyone have any ideas, this one is driving me bonkers!!

We have depoyed both T410 and T510 smart zero clients to roughly 150 users. We use the citrix connection to log in to vdi-in-a-box desktops.
Since doing so we have noticed the number of people calling to get there Windows user account unlocked has risen dramatically.
In trying to get to the bottom of this, we have today noticed that when a user logs in and gets their password wrong, they are only getting one attempt befor there account is locked. Our policy is that they get 3 attempts.
when looking at the logs on the T4/510s, even though the password has definately been entered only once, the log shows 3 password attempts!
Can anyone help? Why is it trying 3 times? How can we solve this?

before change motherboard, i did update BIOS to 2.30, still same error, downgraded to 2.21 as factory.
i did call hp repair for change motherboard and solved the issue.
but.... the number of failure exact PXE-E05 same error is growing...
so,
is there a better solution than change the motherboard or is known issue with some motherboard ARTHUR ?

We have to utilise the Windows 7 screen resolution dialogue to "move" the monitors to their correct position and set the left hand monitor back to the main display.
Aditionally, if the display is set to sleep after, say 10 minutes.. Occasionally when the user returns one display will be displaying a signal out of range error message when it wakes back up.
A power cycle (pull out the power cord and re-insert) fixes this issue.

Have 5 thin Clients (t5565).
Use RDP 2008 R2 server.
2 clients sometimes disconnect without visible causes.
Different rooms, network switches...

HP T620 ThinPro 5.1 - Registry behaviour different after applying AMD Graphics Driver ThinPro 5.0 5.1-13.302.1004
Since applying the applying "AMD Graphics Driver ThinPro 5.0 5.1-13.302.1004.1002" patch to fix the corrupt cursor issue on the second screen, it now appers to have stopped the way registory setting are applied in template tasks.
The correct value is in the registry but the ThinPro Client ignores the setting until you manually OK the setting.
For example the default behaivour for Ctrl+Alt+End to toggle from a running desktop to the desktop of the thinclient
In the screen shot i have changed it to Ctrl+Alt+D
But although the setting is in the registory it is not being used until you click ok under the ThinPro clients GUI.
Has anyone got any suggestions as to how to apply changes to the registry so that are used.
I have tried FsUnlock and Fslock etc
